It will be our pleasure to host you at Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University for the Erasmus Intensive Program

"Development of Adapted Physical Activity in the World"(DAPAW), to be held on July 2-29, 2012.

The objective of this program is to contribute to the development of adapted physical activity (APA) and make it become an attractive profession, a notable science, a sustainable service and a respected right in the world.

With this aim, cultural and professional integration will be made possible between teachers and students on an international level and the subject integration will help develop APA programs currently available at the universities. The program will also let the students acquire a better knowledge in the field and raise the very quality of APA services.

I am confident that this program will provide a highly valuable education package on APA to students coming from Bulgaria, Italy, The Czech Republic and Turkey for it involves worldwide eminent professors, all experienced on APA issues.

I hope you will have a comfortable stay in Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University and in Çanakkale, which is the second city (like İstanbul) of Turkey, spreading on both Asia and the European continent, through the Gallipoli Peninsula.

Please enjoy the many excellent courses offered during the "DAPAW 2012" and take your time to visit and explore Çanakkale.
